bizarre news: Bigfoot risks extinction, says Canadian MP

bigfoot

Bigfoot was one of my favorite things growing up, although I must admit the mythical beast scared me dearly. Let’s just say I went through a phase where, despite the fact that my family home was smack dab in the middle of the remote Mojave Desert, I feared every night that Bigfoot would somehow find my bedroom window, break in, and thrash me royally. The Bigfoot of my childhood was a wild and angry one and I blame Unsolved Mysteries and the gravelly voice of Robert Stack for that.
As I’ve grown older, much larger, hairier, and my feet having ballooned into the giant things they are, I feel more akin to the big fellow despite the misgivings of my youth. Were I to run naked through a forest, and I won’t disclose here whether or not I have in the past, chances are an onlooker might indeed mistake me for a Bigfoot sans overwhelming stench (I hope). The photo above, well, could very well be a snapshot of me from a trip to the Clackamas River last summer, gliding across the rocks on the hunt for a cold brew. How do I feel about that? Fantastic. I can sympathize with the Sasquatch and that feels fine.
Anywho, read this news article on the protection of Bigfoot here:
Bigfoot risks extinction…
Protection of mythical, scientifically unproven creatures: yet another reason to love Canada if you ask me.
