Rarely do world’s collide so sweetly as they have in this video clip, an interesting interpretation of Kanye West’s “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” by none other than Zach Galifiankis and Will Oldham. Yes, Will Oldham, superlative singer/songwriter/user of multiple monikers (Palace, Bonnie Prince Billy, etc.) and one of my favorite musicians. Another reason to keep him up top my list.

I should be getting ready to board my Jet Blue flight to New York right about now, but instead, thanks to Mother Nature, our flight is delayed until, let me check the latest, oh yes, 3:04 a.m.
I’ve spent my time in delay so far tracking down this old Saturday Night Live clip, one of my favorites with some all-time greats:Mike Myers, Chris Farley, Dana Carvey. Premise: Woody Harrelson, young and strapping, convinces a group of dudes at the beach to take off their shirts to bask in the sun despite their multiple, grotesque abnormalities.
