planes, trains, and val kilmer: iceman the later years

In a few short hours, Garett and I will be boarding another plane back to the big apple for the NYIGF (that’s New York International Gift Fair for those of you not on the circuit) to sling some db clay wallets. This makes for the 12th flight in total I’ve been on in the past month and a half or so, and while I do love repeatedly squeezing my large frame into tiny economy seats, I often wish there was something more humorous than my uncomfortable struggle. Perhaps if the pilots were Will Ferrell, Chris Parnell, and Val Kilmer, as they are in this SNL send-up: Iceman - the later years.

where have all the urls gone? Or clownpenis.fart

On occasion I’ve been know to spend far too much time at Instant Domain Search checking for any number of ridiculous url’s. At my weaker moments I tend to buy the one’s I like (dolphinchildren.com anybody?) but I’m often surprised by just how many of the wack-job things that I think of and enter into the domain search are taken. Frankly it’s a little sad, a little shocking, and always reminds me of this great SNL commercial for Dillon & Edwards Co, an investment firm that unfortunately waited a little too long to snag a url for their website.
