Over the years, my beard has really grown on me, in both the figurative and literal sense, of course. I’m not without facial hair and the whole grooming process has become quite spiritual. Fur on the face makes a canvas of cheeks and I’ve spent many a minute with clippers in hand waiting for that artistic impulse to strike, hands buzzing as I shape, trim, and style something new to grace my face when I face the world.
Well, I’m sure glad someone decided to address this intimate relationship, a man and his beard, and that mistress the mustache, in song and video, thanks to nate dern and college humor.
