Sometimes you just need a little Phil Hartman to tickle your funny bone. He’s easily a top 3 all-time cast member on SNL, but I was always equally, if not more, amused by his turn as Bill McNeal on News Radio. Reminder: Gotta find that on DVD. Couple o’ quick clips:

Does anybody remember this show? I have no idea why this popped into my head the other day, but I think it had something to do with hearing Bobcat Goldthwait’s voice, perhaps while watching Police Academy 2 or 3. He, of course, voiced a key character in the show, a talking rabbit named Floppy. The rest of the cast featured some recognizable faces that have moved on to greener TV pastures - Nikki Cox (Las Vegas), Kevin Connolly (Entourage), Justin Berfield (Malcolm in the Middle) - but I don’t think anything can top the rabbit:
