Ah, with election day now so close at hand and my nerves sufficiently fried, I’ve discovered there’s only one thing that can really get me by in the final stretch: Japanese Corgi puppy videos. Watch and repeat. Watch and repeat. Everything is going to be OK.

Isn’t it ironic? Don’t ya think? Alanis, is that you? Savor the sweet irony of America’s first Hockey Mom, Sarah Palin, getting booed lustily by hockey fans at a recent Philadelphia Flyers game. I just find this too hilarious considering how much she touts her hockey pedigree on the stump, using it as some quasi-qualification for her ability to tackle, nay check, the serious issues of the day. Apparently the fans don’t agree:
